On second-round play:
"We continue to want to test ourselves against better competition and see how we stack up. Today we matched Ole Miss for the second-best team score. Only Georgia Tech shot a better round. Those are two of the best teams in the field. That's encouraging.
"This is a very difficult golf course. The speed and slope of the greens are very challenging. We still weren't as efficient as I'd like, but we did a better job today."
On the top individual performances:
"Austin (Squires) and Jake (Fox) played solid and gave us two huge rounds today.
"We always talk about how key it is to get good rounds from your No. 4 and No. 5 players and Nicolas (Osterburg) and Andy (Mayhew) closed well. Nicholas birdied two of his last six holes and Andy had birdies on No. 16 and No. 18. Finishing off their rounds the way they did was significant for us."
