Episode 8 of BEARCATS TV's "The Journey" highlights the Cincinnati coaching staff. The unit ranks second only to Michigan State (seventh year) among major college programs for the most years together without a change. The 2017-18 Bearcats coaching staff enters its sixth season together and that continuity benefits the players.

"It's a luxury for me but also for our players. The guys that recruited you are still on the staff. The guys that you met on your visit are still on the staff. And it's not just our assistant coaches, it's our support staff all the way down."
- UC head coach Mick Cronin

"Coach (Cronin) really likes where he's at. And he's got a great nucleus around him. They love doing what they do. They love being around each other. It's a family-like atmosphere. It reassures me every day."
- UC forward Kyle Washington

"We know for a fact that the coaches here care about us and they want us to do good on and off the court. It's not really all about basketball here. It's about becoming a better person, a better man."
- UC guard Cane Broome
