// TOP TIMES
Dominic Polling posted a NCAA B time in the prelims of the 200 IM and beat that in the finals to set a new school record of 1:47:90
Chris Bready and Din Selmanovic both clinched NCAA B times in the 500 freestyle. Bready came in first at 4:23:82 and Selmanovic right behind him at 4:24:02

// OTHER WINNERS
• The quartet of Katherine Gob, Maddie Exton, Abby Johnston and Lindsey Niehaus won the 200 freestyle relay
• UC's men also took the 200 freestyle relay with Justin Crew, Ryan Hammond, Alex Fortman and Hans Kabelka
Rocky Laabs won the 500 freestyle, coming in with a time of 4:49:44
Michaela Wheeler was first to the wall in the 200 IM at 2:02:78
Lindsey Niehaus, with a time of 23:05, took first in the 50 freestyle
Alex Fortman won the 50 freestyle, finishing at 20:86
• The Bearcats won the 400 medley relay with Dom Polling, Zach Hostoffer, George Epsly and Alex Fortman

// PRELIM PERFORMANCES
• The Bearcats got off to a strong start in the event, taking the top spots in numerous events during the prelims
Sydney King led the 500 freestyle swimmers as UC finished with the top six times
• The men also took the top six 500 freestyle times led by Chris Bready
• In the women's 200 IM, Michaela Wheeler took first and Katherine Gob came in third
• Dom Polling posted a NCAA B time of 1:49:09 to finish first in the 200 IM. The Bearcats took the top seven times in the prelims
Lindsey Niehaus finished second and Maddie Exton third in the prelims for the 50 freestyle
• Four Bearcats were first to the wall in the men's 50 freestyle, led by Alex Fortman

// DAY 1 STANDINGS
• The Bearcat women are in first out of the five teams competing with 296 points. San Jose State is in second with 233
• UC's men lead Lindsey Wilson College 384-184


// DIVING AT MIZZOU INVITATIONAL
• At the opening day of the Mizzou Invitational, the men competed in the 1-meter while the women took part in 3-meter
Mitch Godar was the best men's finisher for the Bearcats with a sixth place finish in the finals. He posted a score of 291.80
• On the women's side, Claire Schuermann scored a 288.50 in the finals to finish sixth
