// SET BREAKDOWN
Set 1: TUL, 25-21

• The Bearcats came out strong, taking a 6-1 lead on three kills and three attack errors by the Green Wave. After an early timeout by Tulane, the home team slowly started working its way back in. An ace tied the set at eight before a Carly Nolan kill kept UC in front. The Bearcats took a two-point lead, 13-11, but four-straight Green Wave points shifted the lead. Despite UC keeping it close, Tulane escaped with the victory in the opening set.

Set 2: UC, 25-19
• UC had another good start in set two, starting out with a kill by Jade Tingelhoff.  An ace from Sabrina Wolf and service error by Tulane put the score at 4-1 early on. Nolan added in an ace of her own to make it 6-3. Nine-straight Bearcat points caused two Tulane timeouts with the set at 15-6. The run started with a kill by Elly Ogle. A service ace by Ogle provoked the Green Wave's first timeout in the scoring spree. Out of the break, Maya Muldrow earned a solo block. The final point of the run came on another block, this time by Muldrow and Erica Kostelac. UC remained in the driver's seat for the rest of the set, as a block by Jasmine Jones would end it.

Set 3: UC, 25-17
• The third set went back-and-forth until the Bearcats were able to break free. Tied at seven, back-to-back blocks, the first a solo by Muldrow, put UC up by two. The Bearcats had their second long run of the match later on, going 7-0 to take a 16-8 advantage. Five of those seven points came on kills. Kills by Jones and Kostelac put the lead at ten, 22-12. Another Kostelac kill made it 25-17.

Set 4: UC, 26-24
• Tulane started off with a 5-1 lead in what would be the final set of the night. A solo block by Muldrow evened the score at nine each, and a kill from Muldrow gave UC the lead. The Green Wave did not go down easily, scoring four in a row to bring the lead within two at 20-18. They strung together another 4-0 run to take a slight 23-22 edge. A Nolan kill and Tingelhoff kill gave the advantage back to UC and a Nolan and Jones block would secure the Bearcats' victory.
