// SET BREAKDOWN
Set 1: UC, 25-16

• The Bearcats posted a huge 7-0 run early in the match to gain control early. A kill by Maya Muldrow tied the match at two and started the scoring spree. Two kills by Erica Kostelac and an ace from Elly Ogle put the score at 8-2. Houston was never able to score more than two points in a row during the opening set, while UC had another run, this one 3-0, later on. Carly Nolan and Jasmine Jones each had a kill then teamed up for a block to create the run. The UC advantage was 22-13 at that point. A Ogle kill off an assist from Tingelhoff would end the set.

Set 2: UC, 25-20
• The second set would start back-and-forth and see Houston take a 14-10 lead before Cincinnati took back control. The Bearcats scored four straight to tie the set at 14 all. The run started with back-to-back kills by Kostelac before a ball handling error and Muldrow kill tied it up. After the Cougars scored the next point to take a one-point lead, the Bearcats scored four more points in a row to lead 18-15. Kostelac added in another kill while two blocks, both with Muldrow involved, and an ace by Maya Eller gave the lead back to UC. The Bearcats stayed in control from that point, having another 4-0 run later on before a service error by the Cougars handed UC the set win.

Set 3: UC, 25-20
• The start to the third and final set was also close before the Bearcats began to pull away. Tied 8-8, Kostelac had a kill, Houston had an error and Abby Williams had an ace to put UC up 11-8. Back-to-back points later on, the latter coming from an ace by Parker Shepherd, put the set at 21-16. The Bearcats would score the final two points of the set to take the match victory.
