For the first time this season the Bearcats are home for back-to-back weekends. UC hosts Memphis on Friday at 3 p.m. and Wichita State on Sunday at noon.

// PROMOTIONAL SCHEDULE
• Friday will be a rUCkas rewards day
• Sunday after the match the program's three seniors (Cortnee Bowser, Parker Shepherd, Maya Muldrow) will be recognized for their dedication to UC volleyball
• The team is also hosting a food drive on Sunday to help the needy in the community. Fans are asked to bring non-perishable food items to the match
 
// WEEKEND RECAP
• Cincinnati dropped both its matches last weekend, 3-0 to UCF and 3-2 to USF
• On Friday against the Knights, the Bearcats lost in straight sets by scores of 25-17, 25-20 and 25-14
Jade Tingelhoff registered a double-double with 26 assists and 13 digs on the night. She achieved the double-double during the second set
Erica Kostelac led the team with 14 kills and Abby Williams had a team-high 14 digs
• Four Bearcats reached double-digits in digs as Chrysanthi Stamatiou finished with 11 and Carly Nolan with ten
• UC improved on Sunday but fell just short in a five-set loss to USF
• The Bulls came out and took the first set 25-20 but the Bearcats got ahead in the match by winning the next two sets 25-21 and 25-12. USF evened the match up with a 26-24 set four victory before taking the victory with a 15-12 deciding set
• Nolan had a career-high in kills with 26 on the night. She did that on 71 attempts while hitting just under .300. She had a double-double with the addition of 14 digs
Elly Ogle also posted a career mark by finishing with 22 digs
• Williams led the team with 19 digs while Kostelac had 13 kills and Maya Eller contributed with 15 digs

• A few of the current Bearcats currently sit in the top ten in the UC record book for career stats
Jade Tingelhoff is sixth in all-time assists with 3,117.
• In the rally scoring era, Tingelhoff is fourth in career assists while Abby Williams is ninth
• With more than 1,000 kills at 1,156, Carly Nolan is sixth in the UC career ranks
• Williams also cracks the top ten in career digs in the rally scoring era, coming in at fifth all-time with a total of 1,239
 
// CONFERENCE-ONLY STANDINGS AND STATISTICS
• UC is one of five teams still in play to capture the American Athletic Conference Championship with three weeks left of the regular season
• The unbeaten Shockers remain in first place at 14-0. SMU is second (12-2), Temple is third (10-4), ECU is in fourth (9-5) and Cincinnati currently ranks fifth in the conference standings at 8-6
• The Bearcats rank sixth in hitting percentage, fifth in assists, third in kills, third in blocks, fourth in service aces and fourth in digs when comparing conference-only stats among the twelve AAC teams
• Individually in conference matches, Carly Nolan is fourth in kills per set, 12th in digs per set and eighth in aces per set
Jasmine Jones is sixth in hitting percentage and third in blocks per set
Erica Kostelac ranks seventh in kills per set
Jade Tingelhoff is fourth in assists per set
Maya Muldrow ranks eighth in blocks per set and 14th in hitting percentage
Abby Williams ranks sixth in digs per set
Emily Azzara is tied for eighth in service aces
 
// KNOW THE FOE: MEMPHIS
Memphis is currently 9-17 overall and 2-12 in conference play. The Tigers enter the weekend coming off a big win against Temple, beating the Owls 3-2 on Friday night. Most recently, Memphis fell in five sets at home against UConn. The team's other conference victory was October 17, a 3-2 win over Tulane in a makeup of a previously postponed contest.
 
// SERIES HISTORY: BEARCATS vs. TIGERS
Cincinnati is 30-21 all-time against Memphis with the most recent win coming earlier this season. On October 22 in Memphis, UC won 3-0 with set victories of 25-16, 25-22 and 27-25. The Bearcats won both meetings with the Tigers last season but dropped both matches in the previous three years.
 
// KNOW THE FOE: WICHITA STATE
Wichita State remains the team to beat in the conference at 14-0. The Shockers enter the week ranked 20th in the nation with an overall record of 22-3. The only teams that have bested Wichita State this season were No. 14 Oregon, Cal Poly and No. 19 Iowa State. Only four American teams have won a set against the Shockers this season (Temple, UCF one each meeting, SMU).
 
// SERIES HISTORY: BEARCATS vs. SHOCKERS
Cincinnati and Wichita State have just two prior meetings. UC lost at Wichita State earlier this season 3-0. The teams also met in 2016 when the Bearcats fell 3-2 on the road.
 
// DOUBLE TROUBLE
The duo of Carly Nolan and Jade Tingelhoff have stacked up double-double performances all season long, but especially since entering conference play. Nolan has sixteen on the season (kills-digs) while Tingelhoff has thirteen (assists-digs). Nolan has posted a double-double in all but three conference matches this season while Tingelhoff has had a double-double in nine out of fourteen.

Carly Nolan continues to lead the American in kills per set (4.10) and in points per set (4.58). She also is 15th in digs per set
Jade Tingelhoff ranks fourth in the league with 9.86 assists/set
Jasmine Jones is 11th in hitting percentage at .284 and third in blocks/set with 1.16
Maya Muldrow is 13th in blocks (0.96/set) and Abby Williams is 10th in digs (3.78/set)
Erica Kostelac ranks 11th in kills per set at 3.01 and 12th in points per set with 3.30

UC heads back to the road for the final road weekend of the regular season. The Bearcats will play Tulane on Friday, November 17 at 8 p.m. and Houston on Sunday, November 19 at 2 p.m. The final home match will be played at St. Ursula Academy Wednesday, November 22 at 1 p.m.
