CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati men's golf team will play in the Linger Longer Invitational, March 18-20, at the Great Waters Golf Course at Lake Oconee in Greensboro, Ga.
The event was added to the Bearcats' schedule after their fall season-opening tournament, The Invitational at the Ocean Course in Kiawah Island, S.C., was cancelled due to the threat of Hurricane Irma in early September.
UC's spring schedule features six tournaments, beginning with the All-American Intercollegiate, Feb. 16-18, in Houston. Other events include the Seminole Intercollegiate (Feb. 24-25 in Tallahassee, Fla.), the Colleton River Collegiate (March 11-13 in Bluffton, S.C.), the Ryman Hospitality Intercollegiate (Apr. 9-10 in Nashville, Tenn.) and the Boilermaker Invitational (Apr. 14-15 in West Lafayette, Ind.).
The American Championship is Apr. 22-24 in Tampa, Fla.
