The University of Cincinnati swimming and diving program will strive to make it to the podium this week at the American Athletic Conference Championships in Dallas, Texas. The action begins Wednesday, February 14 and concludes on Saturday, February 17.

// CONFERENCE RANKINGS
• UC's men currently sit in first place in the American Athletic Conference. The women rank third out of six teams according to collegeswimming.com
• Individually, many Bearcats hold some of the top times this season in the conference
Din Selmanovic holds the best time in the 200 free and teammate Justin Crew ranks third
• Selmanovic also has the best 500 free time while Chris Bready is close behind in second
• In the 1,000 free, Bready has the fastest finish this season while Selmanovic is second. Tyler Jones has the third-fastest time, as the Bearcats dominate the event
• The same trio (Bready, Selmanovic, Jones) own the top three times in the 1,650 free
• Dom Polling's best 100 breaststroke time ranks first in the conference. Zach Hostoffer is third in the event
Zach Baecker has the third-fastest time in the 200 breast
Ryan DePietro and George Epsly rank second and third, respectively, in the 200 fly
• Polling also claims the quickest finish in the 200 IM
• DePietro, Selmanovic and Nate Jonas own the three best times in the 400 IM so far this season
• The Bearcat men hold the second-fastest 200 free relay time and 800 free relay time
• In diving, Mitch Godar has posted the best score in both 1-meter and platform while ranking second in 3-meter
• On the women's side, Lindsey Niehaus has the third-fastest 50 free time
Rocky Laabs ranks second in the 500 free and third in the 1,000 free
Sara Wanasek is second in the 1,650 free
Simone Palomo has the top time in the conference in the 200 fly
• The women rank second in the 400 free relay and 800 free relay
•  Ellen Posch's best platform dive this season ranks third

• At last season's conference championships, UC finished in third place for both men and women
• Many current Bearcats posted a podium finish and will look to get back there this year
• Louie Hunt came in second in the 3-meter
• Selmanovic and Bready finished second and third, respectively in the 500 free
• Hostoffer placed second in the 100 breaststroke
• Bready won the 1,650 free with Selmanovic finishing third
• Cincinnati's women won the 800 free relay and the 200 free relay
Samantha Wheatley was second in the 200 IM
• Wanasek came in third in the 1,650 free
Natalie Obando was third in the 200 back
