// QUOTING COACH DOUG MARTIN
On the start of the spring season:
"We've had a productive off season. We've practiced extremely hard putting inside and hitting off mats outside. But it's hard to evaluate where you are as a team when you haven't played since October."

On the Golf Club of Houston:
"It's great course to start the spring season because it's over seeded with rye grass. That's an easier surface to chip off of when you haven't played competitive golf since the fall months."

On the competition:
"The field is a great mix of teams. We'll be a little bit behind in terms of time on the course during the offseason but it's important that we play with patience."
