RICHMOND, Ky. - The University of Cincinnati women's tennis team bounced back in a big way with a win over Eastern Kentucky. The Bearcats traveled south to take on EKU, fully expecting it to be a very difficult match. It was another nail bitter, coming down to the final to one of the final matches of the night, but the Bearcats got the 4-3 victory to move to an overall record of 7-3 for the season.

Antonella Bramato and Ali Miller got the ball rolling for the Bearcats with the first victory of the night in doubles. Ioana Guna and Caroline Morton followed quickly behind, clinching the doubles point for the Bearcats. Alexia Coutino and Emma Miceli got the Bearcats third doubles victory, ensuring a clean sweep.

Caroline Morton kept the momentum going for the Bearcats as she notched the first victory of the night in singles with a 6-2, 6-1 performance. EKU quickly tied the match back up at 2-2 with victories on courts one and two. Emma Miceli gave the Bearcats a 3-2 lead as she earned a 6-1, 6-3 victory. Antonella Bramato secured her fifth straight singles victory and the match victory for the Bearcats in a 6-3, 5-7, 7-5 thriller.
