// BEARCATS IN THE FIELD
On a tough day on the course for the Bearcats, freshman Angela Lopez (Bogotá, Colombia) was a bright spot with a third-round 76 to lead UC. The solid showing featured two birdies and par on 11 holes to vault her from a tie for 54th after Monday's first and second rounds to a tie for 43rd on Tuesday. Senior Christina Gloor (Mattstetten, Switzerland/ESC La Neuveville), too, finished 43rd as the pair led the way for the Red & Black.

// COACH CARL ON THE BEARCATS
"Today was a disappointment," said head coach Janet Carl. "The team made a lot of headway yesterday and today we went backwards from a performance and result standpoint. We were pleased with Angela and her performance today, as a freshman. We do see changes in the girls' processes that will help them over the hurdle. We look forward to getting back on the golf course."
