Leaders: Gary Clark led all players with 17 points. He added five rebounds, two assists a block and a steal. Cane Broome came off the bench to score 13 with four assists and Trevor Moore knocked down four three pointers on a 12-point, three rebound, two assist night. Trevon Scott set season highs with nine points and nine rebounds.

- Cincinnati snapped a two-game losing streak, moving to 24-4 overall, 13-2 in American Athletic Conference play while UConn dropped to 13-15, 6-9 in The American.
- IN THE SERIES: The all-time series is now tied at 13 wins apiece. UC has dropped the Huskies in five-straight games and seven of the last eight.
- UC blocked eight shots in the game and have stuffed three or more shots in every game this season.
- UC had 22 assists off 28 made baskets, the eighth time this year the Bearcats have dished out 20 or more assists.
- UC's six turnovers were a season low and marked the 11th time UC stayed in single digits on giveaways.
- UC converted 13 UConn turnovers into 23 points and have topped 18-plus points off turnovers in five-straight games.
- UC got 40 points of scoring from the bench tonight, almost surpassing the output from the last three games (42 points).
- UC won the battle of the boards 41-37 and scored 10 second-chance points off 11 offensive rebounds.
- UConn shot .295 from the floor and .273 from behind the arc. UC has held 16 opponents to under 36 percent from the floor and 18 foes under 40 percent from behind the three-point line.
// PLAYER NOTES
- Gary Clark made his 129th career start (the most of any player in UC history) and played in his 131st consecutive game for the Bearcats, which is tied for the third-most in program history.
- Clark led all players with 17 points. He has 22 double-figure scoring games this season and 71 for his career. He grabbed five rebounds, has totaled 1,058 for his career and needs two more to tie for fourth place in the record books (1060 – Robert Miller, 1975-79).
- Trevon Scott set season highs with nine points and nine rebounds off the bench. His previous high-water mark came with six points on three occasions and eight rebounds against UCF.
- Trevor Moore knocked down a career-best four three pointers and finished with 12 points, three rebounds and two assists. HIS previous best from distance was three triples against both Richmond and Memphis.
- Cane Broome finished with 13 points while dishing out four assists. He finished in double digits in back-to-back games for the fourth time this season He had 16 points against Wichita State.
- Jacob Evans III had four points, six rebounds, five assists, two blocks and a steal.
- Kyle Washington tied a season mark with a team-high three blocks. He also added nine points and three rebounds.
