PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - The University of Cincinnati women's tennis team found themselves in yet another closely contested match as they took on the Temple Owls. The Bearcats secured the doubles point, but the Owls quickly rallied in singles play. While the Owls bounced back, the Bearcats were not going down without a fight and tied the match with the final court in play deciding the outcome. Unfortunately, the Bearcats came up just short, falling 4-3 to the Owls.

The Bearcats weren't going down without a fight as Emma Miceli and Antonella Bramato tied the match up at 3-3 with victories at the no. 4 and no. 5 singles courts. Bramato extends her singles win streak to six matches with tonight's victory.

"This was another incredibly competitive match that came down to the end and was there for taking, but we just came up short. You have to give Temple a ton of credit for how their girls competed all night. We played a very good match as a whole, but Temple simply got us. We have a resilient group, we'll bounce back.
