Osterburg Tied for 11th after 36 Holes at Seminole Intercollegiate

University of Cincinnati freshman Nicolas Osterburg (Indianapolis, Ind./Perry Meridian High School) is tied for 11th place at 3-under par 73-68=141 after 36 holes at the Seminole Intercollegiate at the Golden Eagle Country Club (Par 72, 6,965 yards) in Tallahassee, Fla.

Osterburg made his move up the standings in the afternoon's second round, climbing 22 spots after carding a 4-under 68. His second-round scorecard included four birdies, 12 par scores and only one bogie. In the opening round earlier in the day, Osterburg finished with a 1-over 73 with a pair of birdies and 13 par scores to offset a trio of bogies. 

Osterburg enters Sunday's final-round action four strokes behind the tournament's leader, Florida State's Jamie Li, who posted a 7-under 71-66=137 on Saturday. 

The Bearcats are in fifth place in the 14-team field at 2-under 290-284=574. Tournament host Florida State leads the event at 19-under 287-270=557.

UC junior Austin Squires (Union, Ky./Ryle High School) and redshirt-freshman Andy Mayhew (Dayton, Ohio/Oakwood High School) are three shots behind Osterburg tied for 21st place, at even-par 144. Squires put together back-to-back even-par 72s  while Mayhew posted a 1-over 73 in the morning and a 1-under 71 in the afternoon.

UC sophomore Jake Fox (Cincinnati, Ohio/Moeller High School) enters Sunday tied for 30th place at 2-over 73-73=146. Bearcat senior Davis Baxter (Nolensville, Tenn./Ravenwood High School) is tied for 44th place at 5-over 72-77=149.
