TicketsThe American Athletic Conference announced its weekly awards on Monday with Cincinnati's Kyle Mottice named to the Honor Roll.
Mottice hit an even .500 this week to help the Bearcats start the home season 4-1. The senior went 2-for-4 with a double against Northern Kentucky to start the week. Mottice kept his .500 clip in the four-game weekend series with UT Martin, picking up five hits in the Saturday double header and then two more in the finale on Sunday. He also stole four bags on four attempts, had one walk and one sacrifice.
UC has a midweek game at Indiana and will be back in action at Marge Schott Stadium this weekend with a three-game slate against Tennessee.
