TicketsFARMERS BRANCH, Texas – During the opening two rounds of the Bradley Spring Break Invitational at Brookhaven Country Club, University of Cincinnati women's golf carded a total score of 611 to tie for first overall with Houston Baptist.
The Bearcats shot a first-round 306 and did one better in the second with a 305. In total, the Red & Black had three players finish among the top eight on the player leaderboard, led by senior Christina Gloor (Mattstetten, Switzerland/ESC La Neuveville) in a tie for fourth.

Back in competition for the second time in less than a week, the Red & Black started slow on the front nine of the opening round, but really surged ahead on the back. Gloor and sophomore Alyssa Burritt (Bellbrook, Ohio/Bellbrook) both led the way with each holing a pair of birdies and saving par on the remaining seven holes. Junior Anika Hitt (Mequon, Wis./Homestead) also tallied two birdies for an even score on the back nine.
UC continued the momentum into the second round with Burritt and Gloor, again, pacing the team with two-over-par rounds including two and four birdies, respectively. Collectively, the Bearcats one-upped its solid first round with a 305 on the following 18 holes to move into a tie for first place with HBU.
