The American Athletic Conference announced its weekly awards Monday afternoon with University of Cincinnati's Cam Alldred landing on the Honor Roll.
Alldred had a career performance on Sunday afternoon at Tulane to lead UC to its first conference win. The junior threw 7.0 innings in the start with nine strikeouts, both career-highs. Alldred only allowed two hits and walked just one batter in the contest. The effort handed the lefty his first win of the season.
UC has had three players named to the weekly Honor Roll this month as Kyle Mottice was honored on March 5 and A.J. Kullman on March 12.
The Bearcats travel to Louisville on Tuesday to face off with the nationally-ranked Cardinals at 6 p.m. UC beat Louisville last season at home when the Cardinals were No. 1 in the nation. The Bearcats return home to continue conference play on Thursday, opening up a three-game set with Houston.
