TicketsCINCINNATI - The University of Cincinnati women's tennis team returns to the courts against crosstown foe, Xavier. The match, scheduled for Wednesday, March 28, has been moved to Western Tennis and Fitness Club and will begin at 1 p.m.

The Bearcats are coming off of a tough match against Western Kentucky. Strong showings by Antonella Bramato/Alexia Coutino and Emma Miceli/Ali Miller helped the Bearcats secure the doubles point to take an early 1-0 lead. In singles play Miceli and Bramato were each able to secure victories, but the team fell 4-3 to the Hilltoppers.

The Musketeers will make the long journey across town with their swords sharpened, looking to add another feather to their caps. During their battles this season, they have enjoyed the spoils of victory ten times, while tasted defeat five times. They come in to the match with the Bearcats boasting a three-match win streak, including sweeping their opponent 7-0 in two of those matches.
Five different Xavier players enter the match with three-match win streaks in singles play. Lauren Ghidotti and Sophia Abelson enter the match with three-match win streak in doubles play.
