TicketsAmerican Athletic Conference play comes to Marge Schott Stadium for the first time this season when Cincinnati hosts Houston for a three game series beginning with a double header on Friday starting at 1 p.m. The finale is set for Saturday, March 31 at noon.

• Also, Rodriguez has had two games with two doubles in 2018, the first time he has accomplished that in his career
• Freshman Joey Wiemer has had early success as he also has a lengthy reach base safely streak. Wiemer has reached in 18-straight games

• Cam Alldred was named to this week's American Athletic Conference Honor Roll for his performance on the mound Sunday at Tulane
• The junior lefty set career highs with nine strikeouts in seven innings pitched
• He allowed just one walk and two hits to earn his first win of the season in a 1-0 pitchers' duel victory
• Alldred was the third Bearcats player this month to be named to the AAC Honor Roll
• The Bearcats' defense has been strong this season as they rank 18th in the nation in double plays with 23 in 22 games
• UC's pitching staff ranks 20th in walks allowed per nine innings (2.96) and ranks 30th in strikeout to walk ratio (2.80)
