CINCINNATI - The University of Cincinnati women's soccer program, in association with the United Soccer Coaches, will welcome coaches of all levels to campus next week as part of the USC's Open Training Week taking place around the nation. Interested coaches can sign up to attend one of two UC training sessions, including Monday, April 2, from 7 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and Tuesday, April 3, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Both training sessions will be held at Nippert Stadium.

According to USC President Charlie Slagle: "From coast to coast, we want coaches from every background to have access to training sessions that will introduce them to new ideas, new individuals, and new environments. This free educational and networking opportunity is part of our Association's mission to provide programs and services that enhance, encourage, and contribute to the development of coaches."

Each session will feature instruction from the UC coaching staff, including head coach Neil Stafford and assistant coaches Matt Cosinuke and Gavin MacLeod, while the current Bearcats roster trains toward their next spring exhibition contest.

All coaches wishing to attend the Open Training Week event should visit the USC web site and register for the event (pre-registration is required ahead of the training session). Visit UnitedSoccerCoaches.org/training to register.
