The University of Cincinnati will have a rematch with Wright State on Tuesday, April 3 when the Raiders visit Marge Schott Stadium at 3 p.m.

// PROMOTIONS
• Tuesday is Pennant Day. The first 500 fans will receive a pennant courtesy of John Morrell. The UC Student Alumni Contest is holding a contest for the best pennant design. Click here to vote
• It is also Res Hall Night. The resident hall with the largest percentage of students in attendance will receive Under Armour t-shirts for those at the game from the winning hall
• Walking tacos will be available at the concession stand as part of Taco Tuesday
 
// SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
• Cincinnati is 38-43-1 all-time against Wright State
• The two teams met earlier this season with UC dropping a 14-8 contest after giving up five runs in the bottom of the eighth. Only 14 of the game's 22 runs were earned
• The Bearcats took both meetings with the Raiders last season, winning 4-2 at home and 11-8 on the road
• The Raiders opened the season by losing three games at Tulane and by splitting a series at Sam Houston State, both common opponents
• Wright State is coming off a three-game series with Northern Kentucky where it dropped the opening game
 
// CONFERENCE STANDINGS AND RANKINGS
• With the series win over Houston, Cincinnati has improved to an even 3-3 in conference play. The team now sits in a tie for fourth place in the current American Athletic Conference standings
J.T. Perez ranks ninth in the conference with a 2.51 ERA
Manny Rodriguez ranks fourth in doubles, third in triples, fourth in total bases and sixth in slugging percentage
Kyle Mottice is eighth in stolen bases
Jarod Yoakam ranks fifth in the conference in appearances and fourth in saves
David Orndorff is second in saves
 
// PITCHING PROWESS
The Bearcats' pitching staff went 34 consecutive innings without giving up an earned run
• That streak began in the first inning of the series finale at Tulane and ended during the eighth inning in the final game against Houston
• In the last four games, Cincinnati has a miniscule combined ERA of 0.50 and is giving up an average of just five hits per game
 
// RODRIGUEZ ON A ROLL
• Senior Manny Rodriguez was recognized on Monday with a spot on the conference's weekly Honor Roll for his performance this past weekend in the series win over Houston
• He has reached base safely in every game this season and the final two contests of 2017, putting his streak at 27 games
• Rodriguez has also hit an extra-base hit in the past six games
