FINAL RESULTS
University of Cincinnati junior Austin Squires (Union, Ky./Ryle High School) posted a final-round 5-over 76 to finish the Ryman Hospitality Intercollegiate tied for 12th at 6-over 72-71-76=219 on Tuesday at the Richland Country Club in Nashville, Tenn. The effort by Squires marks his fourth Top 15 finish of the year.
Rice's Mitchell Meissner (5-under 67-69-72=208) and Lipscomb's Dawson Armstrong (5-under 70-75-63=208) shared individual medalist honors.
Squires led the Bearcats, who finished tied for eighth at 40-over 295-291-306=892. Rice won the 14-team event at 8-over 288-283-289=860.
UC senior Davis Baxter (Nolensville, Tenn./Ravenwood High School) registered his third Top 30 result of the year, finishing tied for 26th at 11-over 69-71-84=224. Redshirt-freshman Andrew Mayhew (Dayton, Ohio/Oakwood High School) tied for 33rd at 12-over 79-70-76=225. Sophomore Jake Fox (Cincinnati, Ohio/Moeller High School) tied for 58th place at 20-over 75-79-79=233. Freshman Nicolas Osterburg (Indianapolis, Ind./Perry Meridian High School) tied for 66th at 23-over 80-81-75=236.
A pair of Bearcats participated in the event unattached from the team score. Freshman Clay Amlung (Louisville, Ky./Saint Xavier High School) tied for 40th place at 14-over 77-73-77=227. Junior Paul Huber (Edgewood, Ky./Covington Catholic High School) finished 57th at 19-over 77-78-77=232.
