The Cincinnati Bearcats are set to host the crosstown rival Xavier Musketeers this Wednesday, April 18 at 6:30 p.m. at Marge Schott Stadium.

• The teams met three times last season. The Musketeers took the first meeting 9-1 at the Joe Nuxhall Classic hosted by UC. The Bearcats then won at home 10-8 later on. Xavier took the final meeting at home by a score 7-1 later in the season

• The Bearcats and Musketeers have a few common opponents. XU lost 13-3 at California, swept Miami in a three-game series, beat Wright State 2-0 then fell to both Miami and Wright State in the Joe Nuxhall Classic
• Last weekend, the Musketeers lost the series at Seton Hall, losing 4-3 in Friday, then splitting a double header on Saturday with a 5-3 victory and 9-6 defeat
