// COACH TOTH ON THE BEARCATS
"We fought like we have all season, but it just wasn't enough. Memphis is a team on quite a roll right now. Their doubles and the top of their lineup was just too much for us. With that said, we hung around and were very close to making it very interesting. Now that it is over all you can do is look back and see that our young team had a very solid season. We competed well every time out. If a few more things go our way a few more of those 4-3 losses end up as wins and you could be looking at a much better win/loss record. Going out earlier here than we would have liked should leave a bad taste in everyone's mouth and have everyone determined to commit to getting better over the Summer so we are a much better product when everyone returns in August. I believe the future of our program is very bright and we have the right people in place to keep moving up the ranks of a very demanding American conference."
