CINCINNATI - This week, the University of Cincinnati track & field program will play host to the 2018 American Athletic Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships. The meet will run Friday, May 11, through Sunday, May 13, and will be held at Gettler Stadium on campus. The three-day competition will be used to crown individual, relay and team champions for the 2018 outdoor season and also serve as the final opportunity for athletes to earn qualification into the 2018 NCAA Preliminary Round meets coming two weeks later.

// GETTLER STADIUM
Gettler Stadium is the home to Bearcats track & field, men's and women's soccer and lacrosse and will serving as the host site of the 2018 AAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships. The last time UC played host to a conference track & field meet was when it welcomed the BIG EAST to town in 2010. For more information on Gettler Stadium, click HERE.

Results for the meet will be posted each day on the American's championship page (see previous note). Live results can be found on that page as well as by visiting the timing company's web site, FinishTiming.com. Printed results will be posted around Gettler Stadium as well.

// TICKETS
Unlike regular home meets for Cincinnati, the AAC meet is a ticketed event. Tickets can be purchased only at the gate at Gettler Stadium and both cash or credit card will be accepted. Pricing for the event is:
Adults: $10 for an all-session pass (all three days) or $5 for single-day tickets
Youth/Seniors: $6 for an all-session pass (all three days) or $3 for single-day tickets
* Children under the age of two (2) and all college students with a valid college ID will receive free admission to all events
* events held at Coy Field (hammer and javelin) will not require a ticket for entry
// PARKING
Parking will be available at all garages around campus. The closest parking to Gettler Stadium is Calhoun Garage ($5) and overlooks the stadium on two sides. Fans parking in Calhoun are asked to follow signs to the ticket office to purchase their tickets before entering the stadium. Ushers will be on hand to help direct patrons to the ticket office to purchase their tickets all three days. Fans that purchase the all-session pass will be permitted to enter the facility directly from the garage on Saturday and Sunday after showing their ticket to an usher.

The gates to Gettler Stadium, as well as the ticket office window, will open to patrons one (1) hour prior to the first event at Gettler. Here is the time schedule:
- Friday: 11:30 a.m.
- Saturday: 9:30 a.m.
- Sunday: 1:00 p.m.
