// CINCINNATI 1:0 WRIGHT STATE
The Bearcats continued to press on offense and take several shots before finally hitting pay dirt in the 17' as Kilgore opened her scoring account at UC. The ball was played down the flank and sent into toward the top of the box where Kilgore battled to gain possession. Once she did, she used a bit of skill to get through the defense, turned toward goal and finished into the lower corner of the goal to stake the Bearcats to a 1-0 lead. That goal not only was her first in a UC kit, but also was her first in two years. The last time she scored came October 13, 2016, when the then-freshman Kilgore scored the game-winning goal in Indiana's upset of #25 Ohio State on the road.

// CINCINNATI 2:0 WRIGHT STATE
UC scored its second goal in the second half as Gorman got into the scoring off a set piece. After drawing a foul, Jill Vetere played the free kick into the top of the box where freshman Brandi Thomsen quickly redirected the ball with her heel, sending Gorman in on goal alone. With the ball loose behind the WSU back line, Gorman immediately hit the ball, sending it past the WSU keeper and doubling the hosts' advantage in the process.
