PROVIDENCE, R.I. – University of Cincinnati men's soccer sophomore Moritz Schaller has been picked for the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll, the league office announced Monday afternoon.
Schaller (Austria/Vienna University) earned the honor after leading the Bearcats to their first win of the season on Friday – a 2-0 win at Cleveland State. In the victory, he scored the game winner in the seventh minute. The newcomer totaled two shots in his first-career start.
The midfielder has played in all three matches for UC this season, totaling nearly 200 minutes of play. He has four shots on the year.
