// BEARCATS REWIND
Cincinnati has played solid golf during both of its fall tournaments. Last week, the Bearcats were led by sophomore Nicolas Osterburg (Indianapolis, Ind./Perry Meridian HS) and senior Austin Squires (Union, Ky./Ryle HS), who each posted Top 15 finishes while the Bearcats tied for seventh place at the Louisville Cardinal Challenge in Simpsonville, Ky. Osterburg, playing as an individual, matched his career-best three-round score, tying for 10th place at 4-under 70-69-70=209 while Squires tied for 13th place at 4-under 70-69-70=209. UC's 7-over 859 team score was its lowest since the end on the 2017 fall season.

 // QUOTING HEAD COACH DOUG MARTIN
On hosting the Bearcat Invitational:

"We're excited to have another solid field again this year for the Bearcat Invitational. Coldstream Country Club has always been a great host with an outstanding golf course and a tremendous membership that supports our tournament. Plus, it's always fun to host an event for your friends as well."

On the team's approach:
"It's important that we continue to build on the momentum we've developed from our first two events. The timing is great to be able to play at home this week. The guys can sleep in their own beds and just come ready to play.

"The guys have done a very good job of managing the golf course to this point in the fall and it's been fun to see the development of our underclassmen as well."
