For the fourth time in as many weeks the American Athletic Conference has named University of Cincinnati's Jordan Thompson as the Offensive Player of the Week.
 
Thompson, who remains the nation's leader in kills, points, kills per set and points per set, averaged 6.00 kills per set and added in 18 digs, three blocks and a service ace in two matches this past week. The redshirt-junior totaled 24 kills in a four-set loss at Western Kentucky on Tuesday. In the conference-opener at ECU on Friday, Thompson posted a double-double with 18 kills and ten digs as the Bearcats swept the Pirates. She hit an impressive .548 in the three-set victory to average a .368 hitting percentage on the week.
 
The three-time AAC Preseason Player of the Year earned all-tournament honors during the first four weeks of the season and was the MVP of the Colorado State Tournament. She was named VolleyMob's National Player of the Week after the second week of competition and earned AVCA National Player of the Week honors last Tuesday.

The Bearcats return home to St. Ursula Academy to take on SMU and Houston this weekend. Match times are scheduled for Friday, September 28 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, September 30 at 1 p.m.
