CINCINNATI – University of Cincinnati men's soccer head coach Hylton Dayes announced Monday the team's 2018 spring schedule.

The slate is six matches in total, highlighted by a home matchup against local professional side FC Cincinnati, and meetings on the road with DePaul and Marshall.

"We are excited to get our spring season underway," said Dayes. "This challenging schedule will help us continue the development of our players as we build towards the fall."

The spring season will kick off on Saturday, March 3 against DePaul at the Circle City College Showcase at the Grand Parks Event Center in Westfield, Indiana.

The Bearcats will follow by welcoming FC Cincinnati to Gettler Stadium on Wednesday, March 7 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available for purchase online here and are print at home only. Parking will be available at Calhoun and Corry Garages for $5. Concessions will be open, including beer for sale.

"The FCC match will be a great opportunity for us to test ourselves against a top professional team," said Dayes, "and also continue to strengthen our relationship with the club."

More than two weeks later, on Saturday, March 31, UC will travel to Huntington, West Virginia to take on Marshall at 3 p.m. to close the month.

April will begin by hosting Bellarmine on the 7th at 4 p.m. and continue with a visit to Dayton, Ohio to face the Dayton Flyers on the 12th at 8 p.m. The spring will conclude with the annual Bearcats alumni game on Saturday, April 14 at 2 p.m. at Gettler.
