Temple is 4-11 overall on the season and 1-2 in conference. The Owls started their season with a 3-1 win over Rhode Island. They also defeated New Hampshire and Princeton at home. Temple opened AAC action with a 3-2 win at Houston then dropped a three-set match at SMU and a four-set match last weekend at UConn
// SERIES HISTORY: BEARCATS vs. OWLS
Cincinnati is 6-9 all-time against Temple. Last season, the teams met just once, also in Philadelphia. The Owls won that matchup 3-1. In 2016, the Bearcats were swept at home before taking a 3-2 contest on the road later on in the season. The first meeting between the two teams came in 1982. UC won two contests, 2-1 and 3-0

UConn is 10-6 on the season and 2-1 in the AAC. In conference games, the Huskies lost 3-1 at SMU, then beat Houston 3-1 and then beat Temple 3-1 at home.
