TicketsCINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati tennis team headed to Chattanooga, Tennessee to face the top regional competition at the Ohio Valley ITA Regionals. Highlighting singles play for the Bearcats were strong performances from Antonella Bramato and Caroline Morton. In doubles action, the duo of Bramato and Alexia Coutino made a deep run in the main draw before being knocked out.

Six members of the Bearcats competed in the singles action of main draw. Caroline Morton and Antonella Bramato each made it to the round of 32 before being knocked out. Bramato posted a record of 1-1 after having a bye in the round of 128. Morton posted a record of 2-1 with both victories coming in three set matches. Alexia Coutino, Ioana Guna and Emma Miceli each posted a 1-1 record while making it to the round of 64.

The Bearcats continue to build rapport as doubles partners during the fall season. The duo of Bramato and Coutino made quick work of their first two opponents before hitting a bump in the round of 16. They finished with a record of 2-1 for the tournament. The duo of Miceli and Morton faced a tough opening match before falling in the round of 32, but they didn't go down without a fight. The final duo, playing their first match together, for the Bearcats was Guna and Maria Santilli. They ran in to a strong duo from Middle Tennessee and were knocked out in the round of 32 after a bye in the round of 64.
