University of Cincinnati swimming and diving gets back to action this Friday as it travels to IUPUI for a dual meet beginning at 5 p.m.

• Many Bearcats sit in the top three in the conference at this point in the season
• Alex Fortman has the second fastest time in the 50 free and the 100 free
• Francisco Arevalo Rubio has the fastest time in the 200 free while Din Selmanovic is close behind in second
• The same duo own some of the top times in the 500 free, too, with Selmanovic leading the conference and Arevalo Rubio coming in third
• Toby Van Dyke leads in the 100 free. John Acevado is third
• Blake Hanna ranks third in the 100 back and second in the 200 back
• Dominic Polling and Dalton Lillibridge are second and third, respectively, in the 100 breast and the 200 breast
• Parker Saladin owns the best swim in the 200 fly
• Polling is also second in the 200 IM with Hanna sitting in third
• On the women's side, Olivia Schmelzer has the third fastest 50 free time

• The Jaguars have competed once this season against common opponent Indianapolis. The Jaguars' women won 142-101 while the men lost 138-105
• UC hosted IUPUI last season, sweeping the dual meet. The Bearcats' men won 186.5-108.5 and the women posted a 213-82 victory
• UC swept 13 events in last season's matchup
• IUPUI Natatorium will be the host of the 2019 American Athletic Conference Championships

• The Bearcats competed at the Akron Zips Classic last weekend. The men placed second amongst five teams while the women finished third of six teams in the event
• Swim and dive opened the 2018-19 season with a dual victory at home against Indianapolis
