The American Athletic Conference announced its weekly awards Monday afternoon with University of Cincinnati's Jordan Thompson earning a spot on the Honor Roll.
Thompson averaged 5.31 kills per set in a busy three match, 13 set week for the Bearcats. On Wednesday versus a tough Dayton team, Thompson reached thirty kills while adding in ten digs for a double-double. She had a career-high six service aces as UC won that match 3-2. Back in conference play, she had 12 kills in a sweep of USF on Friday night. With UC and UCF fighting for the top spot in the AAC, Thompson had another double-double with 27 kills and ten digs. The redshirt-junior remains the national leader in kills and points, averaging 6.14 and 6.81, respectively.
