TicketsCINCINNATI - Madison Less has been selected to the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll, the league announced today. Less was named to the list after recording 13 saves over the weekend, including a career-high 10 on the road at #25 USF Thursday.
Against the Bulls, Less made several spectacular saves and kept the Bearcats in the match as she turned aside 10 shots on the night. Ahead of the match, her previous career-high save total was eight, which she recorded twice, most recently in a victory over LSU (September 16). Less followed that showing up with three more saves at UCF, including a match-saving sliding save in overtime at the top of the box to prevent a UCF goal.

So far this year, five Bearcats have earned placement on the weekly Honor Roll with Less the fifth to join the group and gives UC a player on the Honor Roll for the fifth week in a row after Kiki Lowell (Sept. 10), Julia Abbott (Sept. 17), Dee Picou (Sept. 24) and Jill Vetere (Oct. 1) each were previously honored. Less earned her fourth career Honor Roll selection after picking up three last year with this week's selection the 40th all-time for the Bearcats as members of the AAC.

The final two regular season home matches of the 2018 season on the slate next week for the Bearcats as they will play host to Temple Thursday night at 7 p.m. and UConn Sunday at 1 p.m. with both matches being played at Gettler Stadium. Thursday's match with the Owls will be the team's annual Pink Match and fans are encouraged to join the team in wearing pink to the match. Sunday will be Senior Day with the program recognizing its four seniors: Vetere, Tiffany Huber, Kaleigh Piscioneri and Cassie Wheldon.
