Cincinnati is 2-2 against Wichita State with all four meetings coming in the last three seasons. Earlier this season, the Bearcats won an intense five-set match in Wichita with Jordan Thompson shattering the UC, AAC and Koch Arena record with 44 kills in the match. The nationally-ranked Shockers took both last year, taking all six sets played. In the first meeting in 2016, the Bearcats traveled to Wichita State and won 3-1.

Tulsa sits at 16-7 on the season and 8-3 in conference play. Last weekend, the Hurricane hosted two home matches, beating Temple 3-0 and UConn 3-1. Their only conference defeats so far came 3-1 at UCF, 3-1 at home against UC and 3-0 at SMU.
