TicketsMACON, Ga. – University of Cincinnati women's golf is set to close the 2018 fall season Monday – Tuesday, Nov. 5-6, at the Mercer Idle Hour Collegiate Championship at Idle Hour Golf & Country Club.
Capping a successful fall season in which it won a pair of tournaments, the Bearcats will face a talented field in Macon in its final event of 2018.
The two-day tournament hosted by Mercer features 36 holes on Monday and 18 on Tuesday. Play will begin both Monday and Tuesday with shotgun starts at 8 a.m. ET. Live scoring and results will be available on Golfstat.
The 13-team field features Cincinnati, Eastern Kentucky, Georgia Southern, James Madison, Lipscomb, McNeese State, Mercer, Texas A&M Corpus Christi, Toledo, Towson, Troy, UNCG, and Western Carolina.

UC fought to the finish on Oct. 23 with a final-round score of 294 at the 41st Annual Pat Bradley Invitational at Lakewood Ranch Golf & Country Club to finish the three-day, three-round tournament in ninth place. Junior Alyssa Burritt (Bellbrook, Ohio/Bellbrook) continued her impressive play with a third-round 73 to place in a tie for seventh overall. After carding a second-round 299, UC improved on the tournament's final day with a score of 294 featuring 12 birdies and 59 pars. As a result, the Red & Black ended the tournament in ninth place in a very-competitive field. Burritt continued to anchor the Bearcats during the final round with a 1-over-par 73, including a pair of birdies on the front nine holes and eight pars on the back. She finished in a tie for seventh at 1-under-par for the tournament.
