The top teams in the American Athletic Conference face off this weekend as University of Cincinnati volleyball travels to Orlando to take on No. 22 UCF Friday night at 7 p.m. The Bearcats then take on the USF Bulls Sunday at noon.

There are just five regular season matches left in the AAC volleyball season entering the weekend
• UCF leads the conference at 13-0 with UC in second at 11-2
• Tulsa and Tulane follow at 9-4
• Wichita State and USF are currently tied for fifth at 7-6
• SMU is 6-7 followed by a three-way tie between Memphis, ECU and UConn who are all 4-9
• Temple and UConn round out the standings at 2-11
 
// RISING IN THE RECORD BOOK
• A handful of Bearcats are climbing in both the UC and AAC record books
• Already the UC and AAC leader in single-season points and kills, Jordan Thompson is the conference career leader in points and kills and is third all-time at UC in total kills
Carly Nolan is fourth in the conference in career kills and sixth at UC
• Nolan is also tied for second in career aces in the AAC and needs two more to lead the category. At UC she ranks seventh
Jade Tingelhoff needs 198 assists to be the career leader for the conference. She ranks fourth all-time at UC
Abby Williams is fourth in the conference and second at UC in career digs
 
// FINISHING AT HOME
• The final three regular-season matches will all be played at Fifth Third Arena
• The Bearcats welcome Tulane on Friday, November 16 for a noon match then Memphis the following Sunday at 1 p.m.
• ECU will visit Cincinnati for a noon match on Wednesday, November 21 at noon
• The regular-season champion of the AAC will receive an automatic bid into the NCAA Tournament
• The NCAA selection show will be Sunday, November 25

// KNOW THE FOE: UCF
UCF is currently undefeated in conference play this season and has been nationally-rank ever since its win over UC. The Knights are coming off a 3-0 win at UConn and a 3-1 victory at Temple last weekend. USF, UC and Houston all battled UCF in five sets earlier this year. Three of the 13 conference victories have been sweeps.
 
// SERIES HISTORY: BEARCATS vs. KNIGHTS

Cincinnati is 6-8 all-time against UCF. The Knights escaped with a five-set victory from St. Ursula Academy in mid-October. Last season, the Bearcats won 3-0 on the road then lost 3-0 at home. UC won both matches in 2016, one in four sets and one in five sets. The Bearcats also took both meetings in 2015

// KNOW THE FOE: USF
USF is 18-8 overall and 7-6 in conference play. Last weekend the Bulls traveled to Temple where they won 3-1 and then to UConn where they lost by the same score.
 
// SERIES HISTORY: BEARCATS vs. BULLS
UC is 21-13 all-time against USF, including a 3-0 sweep at home in mid-October. Last season, the Bearcats opened conference play at USF and won 3-0. The Bulls came back and won 3-2 in Cincinnati later that season. UC swept both matches in 2016 and won both in four in 2015
