TicketsThe American Athletic Conference announced its weekly awards on Monday with University of Cincinnati's Jordan Thompson named to the Honor Roll.
Thompson had another big weekend as she continues to stand out as one of the top players in the country. Through two road matches she averaged 6.88 kills per set and 3.38 digs per set while also totaling six aces, and four blocks. Thompson broke her own UC and AAC record with 102 attempts on Friday night against No. 22 UCF. She finished the match with 31 kills, three assists, two aces and three blocks. In a match sweep at USF on Sunday, Thompson hit .512 with 24 kills, four aces and seven digs. The redshirt-junior has now led the nation in kills, points, kills per set and points per set since the second week of the season.
