University of Cincinnati swimming and diving resumes its fall schedule this Saturday by hosting a dual meet against Miami (OH). Diving will begin at 10 a.m. with the swimming portion of the event following at noon. A live video stream of the event will be available at GoBearcats.com/watch
// CONFERENCE UPDATE
• Many Bearcats have times that rank in the top three compared to conference opponents
• Alex Fortman is currently ranked third in the 100 free
• Francisco Arevalo Rubio has the fastest 200 free time followed by teammate Din Selmanovic
• Selmanovic has posted the top 500 free time this season with Toby Van Dyke in second
• Van Dyke is the fastest conference swimmer in the 1000 free. John Acevado currently ranks third
• Dominic Polling has the second-fastest time in the 100 breast and the third-fastest in the 200 breast
• Parker Saladin holds the best time in the 200 fly
• Polling and Blake Hanna are second and third, respectively, in the 200 IM
• Connor Blatt and Hanna rank second and third in the 400 IM
• The men hold the fastest 200 free relay time
• Louis Hunt had the third-highest diving score off 1-meter this season
• Olivia Schmelzer ranks third in the 50 free
• Lina Kutsko is second in the 100 free and in the 100 fly
• Sydney St. Rose-Finear is second in the 500 free
• Victoria Hunt ranks third among her conference competitors in the 100 breast
• Claire Schuermann has the second-best score in 1-meter diving so far this year

• The RedHawks started the season with a loss at Michigan then bounced back with a sweep over Oakland
• Both Miami and UC competed at the Akron Zips Classic in mid-October. Miami's men won the event with UC finishing second. On the women's side, Miami finished second and UC finished third
• Most recently, the RedHawks beat Cleveland State at home with scores of 243-51 for the women and 208-92 for the men
• The Bearcats traveled to Oxford twice last season. Divers competed at the Miami Diving Invitational during the fall semester
• On January 12, the RedHawks visited the Keating Aquatic Center. The teams split with UC's men winning 158-142 and Miami's women winning 159.5-140.5

• The Bearcats have had the last few weeks off from competition after traveling for a dual meet with IUPUI on October 19
• UC swept that meet as the men won 181-118 and the women posted a 194-105 victory
• The Bearcats won 26 events in the meet

• UC returns to IUPUI, the host of the 2019 AAC Championships, for the House of Champions Invite
• The invitational will run Friday, November 16 through Sunday, November 18
