Season tickets for the upcoming 2019 University of Cincinnati baseball season are now on sale.
Prices for Bearcats season tickets are $50 for adults and $30 for seniors (65 and older) and youth (ages 4-12). UC students receive free admission with a valid student ID. Anyone who purchases season tickets in the month of December or January will be entered to win exclusive prizes with one winner selected each week until February 1. Season tickets can be purchased by calling 1-877-CATS-TIX, by logging on to GoBearcats.com or by visiting the ticket office located at Richard E. Lindner Center in Varsity Village.
The Bearcats will once again host regional rivals and conference foes this season with 27 home games on the schedule, including the annual Joe Nuxhall Classic. Marge Schott Stadium will welcome Bowling Green, Wright State, Indiana, Niagara, Miami (OH), Louisville, Eastern Kentucky, Northern Kentucky and Xavier in the non-conference slate. As part of American Athletic Conference action, UC will host Tulane, UCF, Wichita State and ECU. The AAC finished last season as the fourth-highest RPI conference in Division I baseball, proving to be more competitive than the Pac-12, Big Ten and the Big East.
Head Coach Scott Googins will begin his second season at the helm in 2019 after guiding UC last year to its best finish since 2011. Three Bearcats were named all-conference and two were first team honorees, marking the first time both has happened for UC in AAC history. Three players were selected in the MLB Draft while two others signed professional contracts. In the classroom, 23 student-athletes landed on the AAC All-Academic Team and the team was recognized by the American Baseball Coaches Association with the Team Academic Excellence Award.
