CINCINNATI - The University of Cincinnati track and field team starts its indoor campaign Friday in the Hoosier Open at 3:45 p.m. inside of Gladstein Fieldhouse in Bloomington, Indiana.
Friday marks the Bearcats only indoor meet in December with the next action coming after the new year on Jan. 11-12 at the Jim Greene Invitational in Lexington, Kentucky.
Field events start at 3:45 p.m. ET with the women's weight throw, followed by the men's event. Running events get underway at 4:30 p.m.
// RED & BLACK INVITATIONAL
UC held its 39th edition of the Red-Black Intrasquad on Nov. 30 inside the Armory Fieldhouse. The Red Team won the overall competition, 100-96. With 23 events contested, the Black Team won the women's competition, 53-49, while the Red Team captured the men's battle, 51-43, marking the second year in a row that the Red Team won the overall and men's meets.

The order of events for track—60-meter hurdle trials, 60-meter hurdle trials, the mile, 60-meter hurdle finals, 60-meter finals, 400-meter, 500-meter, 1,000-meter, 5,000-meter fast section, 200-meter, 300-meter, 4x400 meter relay.
Order of events for field—Throws, long jump, triple jump, pole vault, high jump.
