// FALL LOOKBACK

// SCOUTING THE BEARCATS
The Bearcats return all but one member from the 2017-18 campaign. A youthful group of three contributors, Coutino, Guna, and Miceli, will all be entering their sophomore season and look to build on the experience gained from their first year. Miceli enters the season looking to build on her twenty-five singles victories, including an 11-1 mark on the #5 court. She compiled a combined singles and doubles record of 43-18 in her freshman campaign.
Guna and Coutino combined for sixteen victories in singles action on the #1 and #2 courts. Juniors Caroline Morton and Anna Philp will look to continue to be strong contributors in both singles and doubles action. Rounding out the returning contributors is senior Antonella Bramato who contributed nineteen singles and eighteen doubles victories last year. Rounding out the returning Bearcats are sophomores Amanda Huser and Maria Teixido Garcia who saw limited action in the spring season, but will look to build on their performances in the fall.
The lone newcomer is freshman Maria Santilli from North Huntington, Pennsylvania where she was a four-year varsity member for the Norwin High School Knights. While in high school she was a three-time Section 1 AAA singles champion, two-time Section 1 AAA doubles champion, two-time WPIAL AAA singles champion and the 2016 PIAA AAA girls' State Champion.

// SCOUTING THE BULLDOGS
Butler will be looking to fetch a win and start their season off on the right paw. They finished with a 9-17 record last season, including a 2-4 record in Big East competition. In the last 7 meetings between Butler and Cincinnati, the Bearcats have won six matches including a 7-0 sweep last year.
