The championship will take place March 8-11, 2019, with all games being played at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut, for the sixth-consecutive season.
All-session ticket packages, which includes admission to all four days of competition – a total of 11 games – will be available for $99. Tickets will be allocated and mailed the week of Feb. 25. All will-call tickets will be available to pick up at the Mohegan Sun Arena on UC gamedays.
Since The American's inaugural season in 2013-14, all 12 women's basketball programs have made at least one postseason appearance. The conference has earned 12 bids to the NCAA Championship and compiled a 39-9 record in the tournament, with five-time conference champion UConn claiming three national titles.
In addition to hosting The American Women's Basketball Championship, Mohegan Sun Arena is home to the WNBA's Connecticut Sun and the New England Black Wolves of the National Lacrosse League. The 10,000-seat arena has hosted championship boxing, college and professional men's and women's basketball, Davis Cup tennis, professional bull-riding and professional bowling. The WNBA All-Star Game has been played at Mohegan Sun Arena four times and the WNBA Draft has been held at the arena three times.
