TicketsPROVIDENCE, R.I. – University of Cincinnati women's basketball junior guard Antoinette Miller (Detroit, Mich./Southfield-Lathrup) has been picked for the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll, the league office announced Monday.
Miller earned the accolade after averaging 16.0 points, 8.0 assists, and 5.5 rebounds as the Bearcats tallied two victories last week.
She totaled 11 points, a career-high 12 assists, and four rebounds in an 80-56 win Saturday vs. Memphis. Previously, the junior scored a career-high 21 points to go along with four assists and seven rebounds in a 68-57 win Wednesday against Houston.
On the season, Miller is averaging 11.7 points and 4.9 rebounds as well as team bests of 5.6 assists and 2.1 steals per game. In conference play, the guard is recording 13.6 points and 6.7 assists each outing.
Entering Monday, she is second in the league – and 24th nationally -- in assists a contest. In addition, her assist-to-turnover ratio is third in the AAC and her steals and scoring averages are fourth and 18th, respectively, in the conference.
Monday marks Miller's first-career AAC weekly recognition. A Bearcats player has been honored by The American six weeks this season.
