I come from France and in France once you are done with high school, you cannot practice sport at a high level and go to university at the same time. You have to make a choice and I did not want to choose, I wanted both. When I was around 15/16 I decided that I would go study and play golf in the USA. I went through a sport agency that specializes in sending European athletes to the USA. I had to pass the SAT and the TOEFL and then they sent my swing videos and my transcripts to all the first division schools in the USA. I skyped with many coaches, received different offers, and then finally chose the University of Cincinnati. The fact that our team is mostly international really attracted me, as well as the campus and the city.

My dad went to study and play tennis in Florida when he was younger which influenced my choice of coming to the USA. I also have part of my family living in Boston and New Mexico so they convinced me that American universities would be perfect for continuing playing golf and receiving a good education.

Outside of golf, I am majoring in international business and minoring in fashion design. I have been working as a peer tutor since last August and I really enjoy helping other people succeed. I am going to graduate in May and my plan is to find a job for about one year in the fashion industry in Europe and then travel the world for six months. Discovering new cultures and meeting people from all over the world is what I enjoy the most. I usually try to meet the new exchange students at UC every semester and organize events with them. I am also passionate about street art and electro music.
