// SCOUTING THE BUCS
The Bucs have sailed far and wide in their journeys thus far this season, opening the season with a four match road streak. They began their voyage by getting sunk at NC State, 7-0, but repaired and were victorious in battles against Virginia Tech (4-3) and Belmont (7-0). They finished out their expedition by getting trampled by the bison of Lipscomb in a 4-1 result. Returning home, they were soon on the defense as Tusculum and Liberty came calling and, in both matches, their foes were sent away in retreat. They defeated Tusculum 7-0 and then Liberty 4-0.
Returning back to the seas, they've once again found that winning was not in their fortune. They dropped anchor against Appalachian State and although it was a closely contested battle, were sent away following a 4-3 defeat. They raised the colors once again looking for victory, but were rolled by the tide of Alabama in a 6-1 defeat. They docked in the ports of Lincoln Memorial and celebrated following a 7-0 victory. With swords sharpened, they stormed the strongholds of the #29 Tennessee Volunteers, only to retreat once again following a 4-0 defeat.
Recovering from that defeat, they've hoisted the sails for a weekend in the Queen City.
The Bucs are led by Andrea Pascual-Larrinaga, who holds a 7-2 record, and Raquel Amaro, who holds a 7-3 record, in singles action. Amaro has predominantly played on the #4 court, while Pascual-Larrinaga has largely played on the #3 court.
Amaro combines with Yi Chi Ma in doubles, with the duo holding a record of 4-3.
