INDIANAPOLIS – University of Cincinnati swimming and diving continued its strong performances on the second day of the American Athletic Conference Championships.
 
Din Selmanovic and Dominic Polling both set new school records in gold medal swims. Selmanovic swam the 500 free in 4:18.55 and shared the podium with fellow Bearcats as Toby Van Dyke finished second and Justin Crew third. Polling broke the 200 IM record, reaching the wall in an impressive 1:45.43.
 
Freshman Olivia Schmelzer also made the podium on Thursday night with a 22.89 50 free swim, putting her in third place.
