University of Cincinnati baseball makes the short trip north to Dayton on Tuesday for a 3 p.m. matchup with Wright State.

// SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
Cincinnati is looking to bounce back after losing 8-3 to Wright State on March 12 at home
• The Raiders are 11-5 this season and are coming off a three-game series with Milwaukee to open conference play where they fell 11-10 then won 3-0 and 3-2
• Last season, the Bearcats lost 14-8 on the road and 5-1 at home in a rain-shortened game
• The two teams met again in the first game of the Joe Nuxhall Classic with UC taking that one by a score of 11-1
• Wright State has the all-time advantage of 45-37-1
 
// CONFERENCE PLAY ON DECK
• American Athletic Conference play begins this weekend with the Bearcats heading to Florida for a three-game series at USF
• The AAC finished last season with the fourth-highest RPI ranking out of all Division-I baseball
• Two teams enter the week with RPIs in the top 25 as UConn is 14th and UCF is 20th
• USF, Houston, ECU and Tulane all sit in the top 100
• As RPI sits after last Sunday's games, the SEC has the most teams in the top 100 with 13 while the ACC has 11, the Pac-12 nine and the WCC eight
• The American along with the Big 12, Big Ten and SunBelt all have six top-100 RPI teams
• ECU leads the ACC and is the only nationally-ranked team
• UCF is currently in second followed by Tulane, UConn, USF and Houston
• Memphis, Wichita State and Cincinnati round out the final three spots on the conference standings

After being on the road all week the Bearcats return to Marge Schott Stadium on Friday, March 29 to being a three-game series with Tulane
• Games are scheduled for Friday at 6 p.m., Saturday at 2 p.m. and Sunday at noon

• Season tickets for all home games this season are available by calling 1-877-CATS-TIX, logging on to GoBearcats.com or by visiting the ticket office located at Richard E. Lindner Center in Varsity Village
• Tickets are only $50 for adults and $30 for seniors (65 and older) and youth (aged 4-12)
• UC students receive free admission to all games with a valid ID
• Single game tickets may also be purchased for any game set to be played at Marge Schott Stadium this season
• A flex plan option is available, allowing fans to purchase ten undated vouchers for $35
