If I am going to be honest, if someone asked me when I was younger what I thought I would be doing in college, I would not have said basketball. I had big dreams of being a professional soccer player like Mia Hamm, playing under the stadium lights for a gold medal in the Olympics; a little far fetched I know, but I was 7 so cut me some slack. I have always loved sports, but basketball wasn't something I ever thought of until my best friend's dad suggested I give it a go since I was tall, and here we are today!

Staying at home to play a sport in college is something not a lot of people get the opportunity to do, and I got that opportunity. Family is huge for me, it's my driving force, and pushes me to be a better person in everything I do everyday. Having the ability for my parents to be at every home game means the world to me, as they are truly my best friends and biggest supporters. I also have some amazing friends, who are there for me as a shoulder to cry on, someone to vent to, or just to spend time with in a random coffee shop chatting about life and future plans. I don't know how I would do this without them, as they provide me with an unmatchable amount of support and love.
